President Obama Mocks the 2016 GOPs Debate

President Barack Obama tore into Republican presidential candidates Monday night at a Democratic fundraising event in New York, saying their complaints about CNBC's debate moderation aren't an encouraging preview for their governing abilities.  Personally, I agree with President Obama. Donald Trump Paints Republicans Into Corner With Hispanics

Mr. Trump’s plan for mass deportations — “They have to go,” he said — which is supported by a sizable minority of Republican voters nationwide, has encouraged rivals to similarly push the subject on immigration.

The Republicans turned off a lot of Hispanic voters in 2012.  National Republican strategists warn that catering to the most hard-line voters on immigration in the nominating contest will hurt the party in the general election, as it did the 2012 nominee, when Mitt Romney, endorsed “self-deportation” for illegal immigrants and attracted historically low Latino support.
